  1. Google Analytics 4

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the website is used and to measure website performance.

Depending on your consent settings, Google Analytics may process information such as:

  • online identifiers;
  • session and conversion information.

For user-level and event-level data, Zazitex uses a retention period of up to 14 months, subject to the settings and limitations of Google Analytics.

Google may process personal data in accordance with its own terms and privacy policies.

  1. Google Tag Manager / Google Tag

Zazitex uses Google Tag Manager and/or Google Tag to manage and configure certain measurement technologies.

Google Tag Manager is not, by itself, an analytics service.

Depending on consent settings, it may be used to manage:

  • Google Analytics;
  • Google Ads Conversion Tracking;
  • Google Ads Remarketing;
  • other authorised tags.

Non-essential tags must respect the user’s consent preferences.

  1. Google Ads

We use Google Ads Conversion Tracking to measure whether interactions with advertisements result in relevant actions on our website.

We may also use Google Ads Remarketing to display relevant advertising to people who have previously interacted with the website, where permitted by law and consent preferences.

Google may receive:

  • online identifiers;
  • website interaction data;
  • conversion information;
  • advertising source information.

We do not intentionally configure advertising technologies to transmit the free-text content of Zazitex contact forms to Google.

  1. Meta Pixel

Zazitex uses Meta Pixel to:

  • measure conversions;
  • evaluate Meta advertising performance;
  • optimise campaigns;
  • create and use remarketing audiences where permitted.

When Meta Pixel is active, Meta may receive technical information and data about certain website interactions.

Meta Pixel is treated as a marketing technology and is subject to consent preferences where required.

Zazitex does not currently use Meta Conversions API.

  1. Google Consent Mode

Where applicable, the website may use Google Consent Mode to communicate consent status to Google services.

Consent signals may include:

  • ad_storage;
  • ad_user_data;
  • ad_personalization.

Google Consent Mode does not replace the consent management mechanism available on the website.

Non-essential cookies and tags are managed in accordance with the choices expressed through the website’s consent management interface.

  1. WhatsApp and Other External Services

The website may include links to external services such as WhatsApp.

Selecting such a link means leaving the Zazitex website and accessing a service operated by a third party.

From that point onwards, processing by the external platform is governed by the third party’s own terms and privacy policies.

  1. Email and Infrastructure

Email communication is managed through the Webmail service used by Zazitex.

Personal data collected directly through the website and Zazitex infrastructure is stored on servers located in the Republic of Moldova.

  1. Service Providers and Recipients

Depending on the services used, personal data may be accessible to categories of recipients such as:

  • hosting and infrastructure providers;
  • technical service providers;
  • analytics providers;
  • advertising platforms;
  • communication service providers;
  • consultants and contracted service providers;
  • public authorities where disclosure is required by law.

Access is limited to what is reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose.

  1. International Data Transfers

Although personal data collected directly through the website is hosted in the Republic of Moldova, the use of services such as Google and Meta may involve international access to or transfers of certain data.

In such cases, data may be processed in other jurisdictions in accordance with the applicable legal framework and the safeguards made available by the relevant service providers.

Where the GDPR applies, transfers to third countries must comply with the mechanisms provided under the GDPR.

  1. Data Retention

We apply the principle of storage limitation.

As an operational guideline:

  • enquiries and leads that do not result in a contractual relationship: up to 12 months from the last interaction;
  • active commercial communications: for the duration of the interaction and up to 12 months after the last interaction, unless another legal basis applies;
  • client data: for the duration of the contractual relationship and afterwards for as long as necessary to comply with legal, accounting or tax obligations or to protect legal rights;
  • general email enquiries: normally up to 12 months;
  • GA4 user-level and event-level data: up to 14 months;
  • technical and security logs: normally 3–6 months, unless required for incident investigation;
  • cookie consent records: normally up to 24 months;
  • direct marketing data: until consent is withdrawn, an objection is made, or another applicable legal basis ceases to exist.

Irreversibly anonymised data may be retained for longer periods because it no longer constitutes personal data.

  1. Security and Confidentiality

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures proportionate to the relevant risks, including:

  • access controls;
  • restricting access to authorised personnel;
  • management of access rights;
  • server security measures;
  • account protection;
  • internal policies and procedures;
  • backup and monitoring where appropriate;
  • contractual confidentiality obligations.

No electronic transmission or storage system can guarantee absolute security.

  1. Automated Decision-Making and Profiling

Zazitex does not use the website to make solely automated decisions that produce legal effects or similarly significant effects on individuals.

Advertising platforms may perform advertising segmentation or profiling in accordance with their own settings and policies.

Under the Law of the Republic of Moldova No. 195/2024 and, where applicable, the GDPR, you may have the right to:

  • request rectification;
  • request erasure;
  • request restriction of processing;
  • data portability where applicable;

  • withdraw consent;
  • not be subject to certain decisions based solely on automated processing, where applicable.

  1. Right to Object to Direct Marketing

You may object at any time to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes.

Once an objection is received, we will stop processing your personal data for that purpose, subject to applicable law.

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.

Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before consent was withdrawn.

Cookie preferences may be changed through the consent management mechanism available on the website.
